Computer skills: PC/Mac, MS Office (Word, Excel etc), Adobe Photoshop, Macromedia Dreamweaver, Macromedia Director. HTML programming. Basic networking.
Retail training/skills: Merchandising, product knowledge, stock control, till operation, supervision and training.

I have a strong working knowledge of both PC and Apple Mac computers, and am proficient in HTML programming, and the use of most everyday software packages, including Microsoft Office, Internet Explorer and Outlook Express, and some specialist software.
I am proficient in design and layout using Adobe Photoshop (6 and 7), and have done a large amount of freelance design work using this package. I am currently improving my knowledge in this software, and teaching myself Macromedia Dreamweaver MX skills.
I have a strong knowledge of the English language, including spelling, punctuation and grammar. I have a good knowledge of mathematics.
I enjoy playing sports on a regular basis. I also enjoy going to live events and clubbing with my friends.
During my ‘gap year’, as well as working within a retail environment, I used my spare time to run my own business, Oxford PA and Production, offering sound and lighting equipment and personnel hire for live bands and DJs. Additionally, I worked as part of Touchdown, and later Revolution, as a club promoter – something that I am still heavily active in. I also regularly enjoy DJing in clubs across the country.
Since I have joined Southampton Institute I have become involved in the campus radio station, Sin Radio, to the point where I was made Technical Manager, and more recently Station Manager. This involves assessing the needs of the station broadcasting on AM, and implementing changes and improvements needed, utilising a team of people under my control.
During 2003, as a freelancer, I was involved in a number of high-profile events: I was part of the set-up team and Stage Manager at the Southampton Institute Students’ Union Summer Ball; I helped make decisions, and supply equipment and décor for Wildchild at Heaven, a high-budget club night; and I was a senior organiser and Production Manager for Little Park, an outdoor festival in Oxfordshire in August which raised money for a dyslexia charity, the TOM Fund.
I have a full UK Driving licence, which I have held for over four years.
